Clay Cafe is delighted to provide a colorful private party room with seating up to 16 guests.

We have starting booking our private party room again for birthdays and group events!

Take home birthday party kits are also still available where you choose the pieces, paint colours and we will pack it all to go. Return everything for firing when you are finished.

All parties booked will be DIY based.

Here’s how it works;

There will be a $30 fee for booking the private party room which is non-refundable and paid at the time of booking. 2 hour maximum booking time and a minimum of 8 painters is required to book the room and holds up to 16 seated. Typically, guests are dropped off and picked up after the party as there is limited space.

Please Note: Arrival time is no more than 15 minutes prior to your booking time and we kindly ask that you finish on time out of respect for the next booking and time for our staff to clean.

Prices for pieces range from $9-85 per piece and the price includes everything except the tax. The paint, time, glazing and firing are included. (Average price per piece is between $10-20.) You will receive 10% off all regular priced pieces, 8+ pieces painted required.

Once you choose all of your pottery pieces to paint off the shelves, choose your paint colours and have fun! You are welcome to come in anytime and preselect items for the party.

When booking the party room, you are welcome to bring in any food, cake or presents with you, please no noise makers. Booking a party can be done in the studio, over the phone or by email.

A staff will be able to answer questions and help guests whenever you need them to. When you are finished we do the clean up for you! After the party we will glaze and fire the pieces and they will be ready to pick up in a few days.

We book the private room out for other than just birthdays!

Party room can be booked not just for birthday parties but also for wedding showers, baby showers, staff parties, retirement parties, club and group meetings or school and daycare outings.

We offer a 10% group discount off regular prices for any group booked for 8 painters or more.
